The Green River is a mixture 'muddler minnow a hares ear nymph and this fly was designed to catch trout spotted in a river in northern New Brunswick, the river is a major tributary of the St. John River that contains speckled trout of good size. This fly was designed by Jocelin LeBlanc in the early 90s, he adapted this pattern to satisfy the habits of speckled trout to refuse new muddler muddler and preferred more messed up. Since this fly has included capturing deformed amount of speckled trout around eastern Canada and a successful lure more trout of good size Atlantic salmon and several on the North Shore (Quebec).
